Understanding our challenge types

Download everything you need to know about about this challenge

Starting with our back tyres dipped in the Irish Sea in the seaside town of Whitehaven, our cycle challenge encompasses some of the best scenery Britain has to offer as we tackle the tough 136-mile ride to Tynemouth.

Our fully supported route takes in long, steep climbs over some of the highest passes in the Lake District and some equally impressive descents that will really blow the cobwebs away.  We will pass woodland and pine forests, lakes, streams and moorland quilted with purple heather.

The support we receive on this ride is second to none - we take care of everything one could ever require from a cycling challenge - from transporting luggage, providing refreshment stops and meals, arranging accommodation to taking care of all our needs; mechanical, logistical and personal!  Some say our support crew are the best in the market, and it’s no surprise why!

From the stunning mountains of the Lake District to the beautiful open moors of the Northern Pennines – all you have to do is hop on your bike and enjoy!  Two coastlines, one objective.  Join us today on this awesome charity bike ride!

Why Choose Global Adventure Challenges

  • Well-established challenge with extensive experience and knowledge from our Event Crew.
  • The best bike mechanics in the market.
  • Our Event Support Team understand our challenge ethos and more importantly they understand our participant’s needs, wants and desires!
  • Everything is taken care of – all we need to do is focus on the ride.

Without the challenge leaders I wouldn’t have completed the challenge, they knew the sort of encouragement we needed and dished it out in bucket loads!
