Join our team of budding explorers as we descend deep into one of the best natural wonders of the world on one of the best charity events!
We begin our American charity challenge with an acclimatisation trek through Sedona, with its popular red rock formations, also known as Red Rock Country. Natives consider this to be the spiritual vortex to the south-west of America and it’s not surprising why – Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon rival many national parks the World over.
We split into smaller groups on Days 3 & 4 as we spend two days exploring the Grand Canyon National Park descending on different trails each with equally epic views of one of the world’s most magnificent natural wonders. The trekking will be tough as we descend over 2,000ft and then trek out again, but our efforts will be rewarded with breath-taking scenery from start to finish. Once back at the rim on Day 4 we take in our last views before heading to Lake Powell.
Our adventure continues further as we explore and conquer trails in Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Colourful spires of rock, called hoodoos, create a surreal appearance throughout the park and at night more than 7,500 stars are visible at Bryce Canyon. Zion Canyon is totally opposite to Grand Canyon. At the Grand Canyon you can stand on the edge and look down, but at Zion Canyon you will look up from the bottom to view the beautiful sandstones.
Once we have successfully explored these natural wonders, we then transfer to Las Vegas to celebrate our trekking achievements!
We assure each day of this charity challenge will give us a different perspective of this breathtaking wonder. Join us on this incredibly popular challenge!
